JLME Update: February 2024

JLME Update: February 2024

In the next few days, two more issues of JLME are expected to go live: a regular issue containing the symposium “Medical-Legal Partnerships: Equity, Evaluation, and Evolution,” guest edited by James Bhandary-Alexander, Yael Z. Cannon, Vicki W. Girard, Abbe R. Gluck, Jennifer L. Huer, Katherine K. Kraschel, and Medha D. Makhlouf, and a supplement, “Promoting Drug and Vaccine Innovation and Managing High Prices: Three Proposals for Policy Reform,” guest edited by Aaron S. Kesselheim, Ameet Sarpatwari, and Benjamin N. Rome. We are deeply proud of both of these very special issues and hope our readers enjoy them very much.

The editors of JLME are also currently working on our Spring 2024 issues. The regular issue contains, for the first time in more than twenty years, a collection of unsolicited articles, ranging across a wide variety of topics and fields. Many of the papers also have accompanying commentaries, putting the papers in context. The issue also includes the usual columns that our readers enjoy.

There will also be a special supplement to the issue, containing the papers delivered at the 2023 Public Health Law Conference, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota last year. We hope to bring you both of these issues in the next few months.

In all, JLME will have produced six massive issues on important topics in the last six months. We couldn’t do it without the support of our readers and members, so as always: thank you for your support.
