ASLME is excited to announce the winner of this year’s Health Law and Anti-Racism Writing Competition. Ivory Janee’ Shelton, MD, studying at the University of Louisville, is this year’s winner.
Dr. Shelton is a pediatric emergency medicine physician and clinical bioethicist in the American Southeast. Her clinical and research endeavors include work in child health advocacy, health justice, and the intersections of clinical care, medical education, health policy, and ethics. She is well supported by her partner of nearly a decade and their Staffordshire Terrier, “Gwennie.”
We thank everyone who entered the contest. There were many excellent entries, and it was a difficult choice. Congratulations again to Dr. Shelton!
