The University of Pittsburgh School of Law is accepting submissions for the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Health Law and Policy, a newly established student-led publication that will expand access to timely, interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of law, health, and policy. The journal operates as an interdisciplinary, dual-format publication, publishing both long-form articles (15,000-35,000 words) annually and, on a rolling basis, short-form contributions (1,000 to 3,000 words) that offer concise, practical insights into emerging topics.
We welcome scholars, practitioners, students, and others working across the areas of health law, public health, health sciences, and related fields to submit their work for our inaugural volume. Contributors to this first volume will play a foundational role in advancing scholarship on the most pressing issues at the intersection of law, health, and policy. For more information, see our press release and LinkedIn.
Please send submissions to upitthealthlawjournal@pitt.edu. Online submission through our website will be available beginning summer 2026. Questions may be directed to the Co-Editors-in-Chief, Molly Skvorak (MKS186@pitt.edu) and Avery Q. Sirwatka (AQS9@pitt.edu).
