The Inaugural Charity Scott Endowed Lecture

Georgia State University College of Law and the Center for Law, Health & Society, invite friends and colleagues, including health law attorneys, health practitioners, faculty, alumni and students, to attend a reception and lecture featuring Daniel E. Dawes, J.D. author of two groundbreaking health policy books, “150 Years Of ObamaCare,” and “The Political Determinants of Health,” both published by Johns Hopkins University Press. 

He is the author of two groundbreaking health policy books, “150 Years Of ObamaCare,” and “The Political Determinants of Health,” both published by Johns Hopkins University Press. Dean Dawes is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and an elected fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. He serves as an advisor to The White House on health equity initiatives. Dean Dawes is an appointed member of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Advisory Committee to the Director where he co-chairs the CDC’s health equity working group, and the National Institute of Health’s National Advisory Council for Nursing Research.
