Join us virtually on Friday, February 6, from 12:00–1:30 PM ET for After Dobbs: How the Supreme Court Ended Roe but Not AbortionThis panel discussion will examine how abortion access has changed in the wake of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, drawing on the insights of David S. Cohen and Carole Joffe’s groundbreaking new book on this topic. While research has documented an increase in abortions since Dobbs, this book explains how and why that increase occurred, tracing the legal, medical, and practical adaptations that reshaped abortion access after the fall of Roe. Panelists will discuss what these findings reveal about the limits of abortion bans and the future of abortion policy and care in the United States.

The panel will be moderated by Maya Manian, JD (Professor of Law, American University Washington College of Law) and will feature:

  • Tammi Kromenaker, BSW (Owner/Clinic Director, Red River Women’s Clinic)
