Save the date for the 2026 Health Law Symposium, Wired Minds, Legal Lines: Governing Neurotechnology, hosted by the Mary and Michael Jaharis Health Law Institute at DePaul University College of Law. The event will be held in Chicago, and there will be a virtual option as well.

The Symposium will explore the legal and ethical implications of neurotechnology and brain–computer interfaces, with sessions spanning health law, criminal law, privacy and data governance, neurorights, and innovation and competition. We will be welcoming leading scholars and practitioners from across the country, and the event will feature a keynote address by Francis X. Shen (Harvard Law School / Center for Law, Brain & Behavior, MGH).

Please register for this free CLE event by March 11, 2026​. There is a room cap of 100 in-person attendees, and online participants will receive a link to view the presentation from InReach just ahead of the event.
